Carob Wood Mate Gourd

A very simple design, clear and natural defines this all wooden, sturdy, medium size mate gourd, made of the carob tree which originates in the vast areas of the Argentine pampas. The color of carob tree wood varies depending on the type of soil this tree grows on. In the northern part of Argentina, you will find the carob tree wood to be a dark brown, in the Chaco province to be reddish and in the Litoral province to be yellow.
