SAVEURS DE LAPALISSE Artisan 100% Virgin Hazelnut Oil is specially recommended for seasonings and dressing. One of the few hazelnut oils produced in France, this oil is produced through traditional stone grinding at the Huileries de Lapalisse, founded in 1898. It is used on salads, in baked goods and various other recipes, as one of the artisanal, virgin oils renowned for their roles in the dishes of the greatest French chefs. With a pronounced, rich hazelnut flavor, it is coveted for the special decadence it lends to chocolate concoctions. For more subtlety, it can be mixed with lighter oils. Not intended for deep frying. Cholesterol free, it combines saturated with polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats in a healthy blend.
