Our Grilling Recipe: Use authentic Argentine Grilling Salt

Sal Parrillera is essential in preparing a good barbecue. In Argentina, there are three sizes of refined rock salt available: sal fina - fine salt, sal entrefina - half-refined salt, or sal gruesa - coarse salt. For barbecue grilling, a half-refined salt, like our Sal Parrillera, will bring out the best flavors. And here is how you do it: before the grilling, sprinkle or rub your meats or fish with it, and then let it sit for a few minutes so the salt can start soaking in, slowly penetrating the meat. Our Argentine hearts jump when we start seeing the juices flowing out! Yummy! While mostly used on grilled recipes including meats, ribs and poultry, you will find it works just as great on salmon, shrimp and other fish.
